Episode 249: Why Don’t You Weigh More?
What do you weigh right now? Is it your highest weight? Do you know how you got there? And why you don’t weigh even more?
Let’s talk about the control you actually DO have over the number on your scale. I think you’re going to be surprised!
In today’s coaching session we are going to talk about how much control you DO have over your weight.
Yes, I know you likely think your eating and your weight are out of control.
Have you ever said that?
Well, let me ask you this question:
What do you weigh right now? I want a very simple answer, without judgement.
Just the facts please, just the number
Is this a weight you like or don’t like?
When you look at your weight as just a fact, this helps you look at your thoughts, we are going from the number, a fact, to what you think about it, right?
And for most of you, you are kind of judgmental about your number.
You might think that this number says something about you as a person.
If you like the number you see, you might be doing the happy dance around your bathroom scale, patting yourself on your back.
Go me! Look what I did!
I can do this after all!
I’m on my way to the number I want.
And if you don’t like your current number, you are probably thinking: I’m out of control! Help!
Today we will talk about how to see the control you already do have, no matter what the number on the scale says.
