I’ll bet that you’re afraid to dream about what you really want. And I know why.
When you think about your life and your body, and what you’re happy with and what you’re not so happy with, you feel stuck.
The things you want to change feel out of your reach. If you haven’t been able to change them so far, why would now be different?
So, if I ask you what you wish for, what could be different for you next year, your mind goes to a safe place. It doesn’t want to be challenged and uncomfortable. As much as you want to change, it’s easier to stay stuck than to risk yet another failure.
Looking at where you will be a year from now is hard for you. You don’t want to get your hopes up. You don’t want to get excited about losing weight and eating without all the drama. Because there’s no evidence that you will be able to do things differently.
But today, I am challenging you. I want to help you change. And the way we will do that is by looking ahead and creating a vision of what you want.
Not just what you want to weigh. But how you want to be, to live, to show up in the world next year.
