It’s another Monday and you’re motivated to start a new weight loss plan. This time, you say to yourself, I’m ready.
For a few days or even a couple of weeks, you’re staying on your plan. You don’t have to think too much about it.
And then, the inevitable. Something or someone throws a wrench into your plans. You have to work late or there is a family emergency, or you’re worn out from too many commitments, or maybe it’s that you’re going on that long-awaited vacation.
But no matter what “it” is, the next thing you know, you tell yourself you’ll just have to plan on getting back on track after this is over with.
Sound familiar? It’s a cycle that you’ve been through before. That much I know.
But this cycle doesn’t get you where you want to go. It doesn’t help you reach your weight loss goal.
Something is missing. But what is it?
That something is time. Making time for your weight loss plan. Making time for yourself. And making your weight loss a priority. Every day. No matter what comes up.
