I used to be totally ruled by the moods of my husband, my two daughters and my friends.
If they were in a good mood, I’d be good. I’d feel relieved and peaceful. But if they weren’t, everything felt up for grabs.
If they were sad, I’d feel sad.
If they were worried, I’d jump right in there on the worry bus with them.
And if they were angry about something, guess who’d be angry too? Me, of course!
Now I have so much more understanding about moods than I used to. I know what creates my own moods. And, I really understand what creates the moods of others around us.
And that’s what I want to share with you today.
Because what you ultimately want to do is to experience your own moods, the good and the bad AND be with someone else and their moods, without running to eat to feel better. This is a step toward ending your emotional eating.
