Imagine this:
Someone offers you some delicious-looking food.
But you aren’t hungry.

Just imagine how it would feel if it were easy to say: No thanks!

If this seems like an impossible dream to you, you are not alone.
So many of us can’t resist certain foods when they are offered to us.

We tell ourselves stories, like:

I don’t know when I’ll get this again, so I’d better eat some now!

She made it just for me. I can’t say no!

Or:
I can never say no to ____…. fill in the blank!

Turning Down Food

Think about all those times that you are saying yes to eating when you aren’t hungry. All those times count. And they all add up to extra weight.

If you were able to say ‘no’ when you are offered food when you weren’t hungry, your body would reflect that. And you’d feel proud and in control.

In our coaching session today, we are going to talk about why it’s so hard to turn down food, even if you aren’t hungry. AND we will talk about what to do instead.
