Episode 226: Why It’s So Hard To Stop Eating
You set an eating goal.
You decide ahead of time what you will eat.
When you will eat.
And when you will stop.
But when the times comes, the stopping part doesn’t happen.
It happens, but often not until the food you were eating is gone.
And by the time the food is gone, you are overly full. You ate more than you needed.
So why is it so darn hard to stop eating once you’ve started?
Sometimes it’s your biology.
You are wired to get as much of the good stuff as possible.
Sometimes you wait to be hungry to start eating, and then zone out and again, keep eating until your plate is clean. You simply stop paying attention to your hunger.
And sometimes it’s your faulty thinking.
If you’ve ever thought these things, this is what you need to work on.
I’ll start tomorrow.
Just this once.
I don’t want to waste food.
And on and on and on.
So join me in this coaching session where we uncover the three big reasons it’s so hard to stop eating even when your body has had enough.
This is a solvable problem. Let’s do this!
